A Piedmont days’ worth of vineyards (about 3,500 sqm) overlooking the magnificent Castle of Grinzane Cavour, the place where Barolo, thanks to the attention of Count Camillo Benso, has taken its first steps towards the end of the 19th century.

Lands crossed by deep creeks, well exposed towards south, with soils made up by the famous Sant’Agata Fossili Marls, rich in clay but with little sand and an average quantity of limestone. The soil yields wines with outstanding structure, excellent freshness and an enveloping tannic texture.

The grapes of Grinzane Cavour are vinified separately and then blended together to make our Barolo Docg.
