At first glance, Réva's Barolo Chinato seems like a product born in the wake of tradition, with a classic recipe where citrus fruits balance the bitter notes of cinchona, the true protagonist of the recipe. In reality, by taking the right time we can discover other aromas in our glass. A subtle spicy note of cinnamon, clove, spicy pepper, galangal and mace, and memories of rose petals to support the primary notes of the wine and a refreshing background of coriander, cardamom and eucalyptus. The taste has an excellent olfactory correspondence with the bitter timbre of the cinchona, supported by hints of rhubarb with its characteristic smoky note. The sweetness is well balanced, balancing, without being the protagonist, the bitter notes that remain for a long time together with a pleasant trail of bitter orange peels.
